Tefilotenu<\/em> (“Our Prayers”) is the Spiritual Humanistic siddur, written by Martin Hasan Di Maggio of the Spinoza Havurah. It carries the full Hebrew liturgy for Shabbat evening and Shabbat daytime services through Havdalah, in Hebrew, transliteration and English, so that a community that no longer prays to a supernatural Subject can still pray — in the tradition’s own words, its own melodies, its own structure.<\/p>\n

Tefilla, Reimagined<\/h2>\n

Prayer, in this siddur, is not petition to a listening deity. It is a discipline of attention: gratitude rehearsed until it becomes character, awe held long enough to reorder what matters, grief given words instead of silence, and a community’s values said out loud, together, often enough that they become the community’s own.<\/p>\n
